The primary objective of SPS is to meet the needs of our customers who entrust SPS with their Programs and Projects. SPS prides itself on its commitment to the customer as their priorities are our priority. The success of SPS is based off of our customers’ success and to ensure customer satisfaction, SPS visits each customer on a quarterly basis to discuss how SPS can better support the respective program.

A major objective of SPS is to propel the company into a prominent market position with steady growth over a relatively short period of time. The current industry demand for these types of services, combined with the growing interest in the next generation of Logistics state-of-the-art support, places SPS in the right industry at the right time. A major objective is to secure contracts for these early opportunities, complete the work successfully, and parlay this success into further growth. SPS Corp success during the last two years of winning contracts in this area of the marketplace, has confirmed our “proof of concept” market approach in continuing the growth of the corporation.

The plan to position the company is well underway. The SPS organization has:

  • Identified the Region’s major customers for Logistics and Technical Services needs.
  • Organized the customers into groups and identified their common requirements.
  • Identified near-term and long-term opportunities for offering services in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • Conducted meetings with prime contractors and government agencies to solicit assistance in bringing SPS awareness into the forefront of the community.

The primary challenge facing a new company in the Huntsville area is name recognition and proof of performance. The plan to overcome this obstacle is based on our strategic alliances and our ability to recruit experienced personnel, as we were able to in Kuwait and Iraq.

The fundamental thrust of the marketing plan is to gain a presence in the industry through continued excellent performance on contracts resulting in follow-on-work while building an excellent reputation for the company.
